A trained lawyer and recognized thought leader, her expertise has led to systemic change across industries, earning her features in Forbes, The Globe & Mail, The Toronto Star and more.

About the Series

The Foundations of Good Workplaces training series is designed to build inclusive, psychologically safe, and equitable work environments. This 5-part learning experience is tailored to meet participants where they are, while offering progressive development for those ready to lead with inclusion.

Whether you're just beginning your DEI journey or stepping into a leadership role, these interactive sessions will provide the foundation and tools needed to contribute to a thriving workplace.

Training Topics & Schedule

Each session is offered multiple times—please select the one time slot per topic that best fits your schedule.

1. Foundations of DEI (No Prerequisites)

Learn the language and core principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion. This session is the required starting point for all other workshops.

2. Unconscious Bias (Prerequisite: Foundations of DEI)

Understand how implicit bias shows up in the workplace and explore tools to interrupt it.

  • Wednesday, May 28th – 11:00 AM MST

  • Thursday, June 12th – 12:00 PM MST

3. Microaggressions (Prerequisites: Foundations of DEI + Unconscious Bias)

Recognize and address the everyday slights and indignities that harm workplace culture.

  • Thursday, July 3rd – 1:00 PM MST

  • Friday, July 11th – 1:00 PM MST

4. Allyship (Prerequisites: Foundations of DEI + Unconscious Bias + Microaggressions)

Move from bystander to upstander. Learn how to advocate and act in solidarity with marginalized communities.

5. Inclusive Leadership (For People Managers Only)

Foundations of DEI + Unconscious Bias + Microaggressions + Allyship

Designed for current leaders, this session builds inclusive decision-making and leadership skills.

  • Wednesday, July 9th – 10:00 AM MST

Each session is capped at 25 participants, and registration will close once capacity is reached. Participants are asked to register for only one time slot per topic. Please note that prerequisites are required for certain sessions and may be verified.
